Christopher Algera, CMCA
Senior Vice President
Christopher Algera joined Sudler Property Management in 2013 as a Residential Senior Portfolio Manager, responsible for client properties located predominately in the Gold Coast and Streeterville neighborhoods. With prior professional experience in construction development, Chris possessed a deep understanding of the operational details and challenges involved in property management.
At Sudler, he has overseen numerous long-term capital improvement projects while helping associations prioritize their capital plans. Chris takes a proactive, detail-oriented approach to his job, and takes pride in successfully achieving agreed-upon end goals. He maintains a strong commitment to fostering long-term relationships with both clients and colleagues. He also enjoys his mentorship role, working with new talent, and helping them achieve their full potential. To that end, Chris developed Sudler’s Assistant Manager Training Program. He also manages the firm’s social-media footprint.
Chris is a Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), and holds the State of Illinois Community Association Manager (CAM) license. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
One day every year, Chris puts aside his corporate duties to entertain friends and neighbors with a memorable Fourth of July fireworks extravaganza. But even this fun pastime benefits from Chris’ detail-management: It’s complete down to precisely timed musical accompaniment with carefully choreographed video effects projected on a 13-foot screen.
