Christopher Algera, CMCA
Senior Vice President
Christopher Algera joined Sudler in 2013 with a wealth of experience, having served as a Residential Senior Portfolio Manager with properties located predominately in the Gold Coast and Streeterville neighborhoods. Chris’ previous work in construction development has provided him with a deep understanding of both operational details and property management. At Sudler, he has overseen numerous long-term capital improvement projects while assisting associations prioritize their capital plans. He has helped many properties meet all the requirements dictated by the City of Chicago’s Life Safety Ordinance and has been involved in implementing new technologies.
Chris takes a proactive, detail-oriented approach to his job. and takes pride in successfully achieving end goals. He maintains a strong commitment to creating long-term relationships with both clients and colleagues. Chris also enjoys his mentorship role, working with new talent and helping them reach their full potential.
He is a Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) and holds the State of Illinois Community Association Manager (CAM) license. Chris holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Degree from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI.
When not at the office, you may find Chris at the beach or discovering new street-side restaurants. He also volunteers his time with youth political organizations and at his Alderman’s office.
