Dean Lerner, CMCA, AMS, PCAM, CPM
Executive Vice President
Dean Lerner is an Executive Vice President with Sudler, overseeing a portfolio of approximately 2,200 residential condominiums and cooperatives. Since joining the firm in 1996, Dean has had significant experience in developer turnover, operational systems development and capital projects. He is the company’s Director of Training and Customer Service and is active on many property management associations including the Board of the Apartment Building Owners and Managers Association (ABOMA) where he serves on the union contract negotiating committee. Dean has also served on the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) Board of Directors.
Prior to joining Sudler, Dean worked for the Hilton Hotels Corporation in various senior management positions. Dean's responsibilities at Hilton included the preparation of multi-million dollar property budgets.
Dean earned the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designation and is a Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA). He is recognized as an Association Management Specialist (AMS), having been qualified by the National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers. He is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) as designated by the Institute of Real Estate Management and holds the State of Illinois Community Association Manager (CAM) license. Dean is a licensed Illinois Real Estate Broker and Resident Insurance Producer. He earned a master's degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Houston.
